The World Can Be Hollow

The world is so hollow to me.
The world, it hates me,
Or so it wants me to believe.
The world, it closes its' heart and mind.
The world, it's gotten so much colder I find.

There are stars that twinkle in the night.
There are stars that love my all,
And protect me with all their might.
There are stars that spread their wings.
There are stars; they don't speak, but sing.

With them, I can survive.
With them, I'll make it through my life,
And at the end I know I will be alive.
With them, no rock will be unturned,
With them, every lesson will be learned.

The world can be so hollow to me.
The world, sometimes it hates me,
Or so I've been led to believe.
The world may open its' heart and mind.
The world, it can be warm, you'll someday find.
